BreadstickBoi23 we are stupid to believe anything we see, but the Bible did say “do not be dismayed by what’s in the skies.” to me, that means that what’s up in the skies are just that: sun, moon, stars- near and far. the heavens are what we cant see, so if we keep on being distracted with all these “how space works” (which is literally water, btw,) we are going to be fighting over something useless. just what Lucifer wants.
also, ungodly doesn’t just mean not believing in the book. It means not being aware of the celestial bodies we are being watched by and not acknowledging that we don’t know it all about ’em, and abiding to what we DO know.
also.. that harry potter stuff don’t make sense. calling oneself holy for reading a holy book is prideful, and misses the point. the Bible is full of unholy people, that God still used to educate and reassure others of his consistency, love, sacrifice and wrath for sin.
